Why do I want to design parks? I don’t even go to parks(not very often on my own). I don’t ski, I don’t go to bars(on my own). I don’t go on the street on weekends(I usually study, do school work and go shopping).
I am locked, in my own space. If I don’t appreciate the beautiful urban life, why should I design it even? People like plants, but who care to think about them besides environmentalists? Come on, I even use bottled water. We buy these water bottles and pretend we like nature. We drive and say public transportation is great. I do urban design and I don’t live in a city. What’s the problem with all these people? Or what's the problem with me?
